Subtle, it ain't

The sign says it all. Snapped this back in July on my first trip out to meet Glenn Chadbourne and nip around the mid-coast area in general. Newcastle, Maine, is the home of Cowsh*t Corner, on Route 194. No, I didn't make this up. Someone has a sense of humor!

Michelle,

I forgot about this one. Back in the early 90's, my job resulted in semi-regular travel around midcoast Maine and past this lovely sign and it always made me chuckle.

Thanks for the reminder and reason smile.

I went to preschool up the hill on the left. It was a white building with red and white tricycles on the second floor

Might expect this in Maine! Love it or leave it, can we all agree?

Cowshit Corner saved my day a few weeks ago. Really bad Google directions had me driving nearly eight hours to go from Montpelier Vermont to Bristol, Me. The only good thing about the trip was the Cowshit Corner sign.

We stumbled onto Cowsh*t Corners while exploring that area of Maine a few years ago.
