The latest and greatest rumor I heard was this:A friend recalled around 10 years ago hearing about a strange episode in Augusta's Capitol Building. As far as he could recollect, a man had been found living in the suspended ceiling of one of the offices there. Suspicion had occurred when items began disappearing from desks and the staff refrigerator.
If anyone knows more about this tale, even a better idea as to the general date of the occurrence, I'd love to hear it. I can't find anything about it online.

Perhaps I am being too literal, but how would anyone live in a suspended ceiling? The tiles would pop out or break if you put weight on them, and the little metal grids that hold them up aren't much sturdier.
