This is the current fountain in Lincoln Park, Portland, a lovely refuge on hot summer days. The domed building in the background is Old City Hall, which burned in January 1908. It stood exactly where the current Portland City Hall does today. Little in the picture -- except the fountain and the park itself -- still stand today. Sic Transit !

Looks like the fountain in the park by the courthouse.
The fountain on Congress St at the bottom of Munjoy Hill. The kids always play in it.
