A 'Tremors' Sequel Filming in Maine?

There's an AP story out today reporting mysterious events in Somerset County. House-shaking tremors were felt in Solon last week, and "in a 15-mile radius in Anson, Madison, Skowhegan and Norridgewock" a few days ago. It's been established that they weren't caused by earthquakes, quarry blasting, or Dumpsters falling off the back of trucks. Says County Emergency Management Director Robert Higgins, "It's just unexplainable, I guess."

WABI-TV5 reported that the house-shaking tremors in Solon last week were actually "an unexplained loud explosion that shook homes in that area."

Curioser and curioser.

The fact that it doesn't register as a seismic event... weird.

Of course the military hasn't commented at all.
